Happy Halloween!

And remember...

A parent or responsible adult should always accompany young children on their neighborhood rounds.

If your older children are going alone, plan and review the route that is acceptable to you. Agree on a specific time when they should return home.

Remain on well-lit streets and always use the sidewalk.

Never cut across yards or use alleys.

Only go to homes with a porch light on and never enter a home or car for a treat.

Wait until children are home to sort and check treats. Though tampering is rare, a responsible adult should closely examine all treats and throw away any spoiled, unwrapped or suspicious items.

Try to ration treats for the days following Halloween!

  1. I'm of the view that responsible children need to accompany adults... The children round our way get very confused if you opt for 'trick'..!

  2. Am I to gather from your comment Mike the adults are worse than the kids?
It should all be in a bit of fun of course but there are always excess.
So you opted for Trick? I can tell you the kiddies here would be very confused too. Sweets are all they want!
    All the best,
